Fire Relief for Crist Family

The home of Erik and Joey Crist, parents of Brogan '15, was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday morning, January 16, 2019. The Crist's home is located close to campus, so they are our neighbors as well as members of our Elgin Academy community. Those of you who were at Elgin Academy from 2001 to 2015, when Brogan was a student, will recall his artistic talent and Joey's active role in the Patrons of the Arts.

We are grateful that Erik and Joey are safe; Brogan is away at college.  The Crist family has a long journey ahead of them, however, as they have lost their home, possessions, and precious memories.

In the hours since the fire, Elgin Academy families have inquired how they might support the Crist family at this time. The best way to help is to donate your financial support. This allows the Crist family to use the resources in a way that is most beneficial to them.  It is at times like this that our community is at its strongest, and we appreciate in advance all of your support.
