Fire /Fogo Monchique

Hi I am reaching out to you after the horrendous fire in  Monchique, a small area in the South of Portugal, this week. Many of our friends and workmates   lost everything they owned. By everything I mean house, workshops and cars. Some only have the clothes they were wearing. They are artisans who craft traditional items and now they can't work. They need sawing machines, many kinds of tools, small items such as leather, fabrics etc. I estimated an initial cost of 10000€, just for small machinery and tools, but more will be needed for items such as clothes, furniture etc. This is an extremely urgent appeal and funds are needed now
