Fiona's Double ACL Surgery

Fiona has fully torn BOTH ACLs in her back legs and needs surgery as soon as possible to repair the damage and prevent further injury. She is having a really hard time getting around and is on restritcted activity until further notice.

She will need to have two separate surgeries (one on each leg) with a recovery period in between. She will also require SEVERAL follow up/rehabilitation appointments following each surgery, as well as a final appointment requiring sedation and x-rays. 

Any funds collected would be greatly appreciated and will be used for the surgeries, meds, 24 weeks minimum recovery period, and follow up veterinary visits. 

She has already been through so much... The first vet that we brought her to diagnosed an ACL tear in her back left leg and sedated her for a different type of surgery, only to decide that she thought  Fiona had something else wrong and x-rays were then needed. This veterinary clinic did not, however, have the equipment to be able to take the x-rays during Fiona's sedation. This was on Thursday, September 14th.

We then took Fiona to Lodi Veterinary Care on Monday, September 18th. She had to be sedated again and was examined and given x-rays. She has been diagnosed with complete tears of the ACLs in both back legs and arthritis is already forming on both knees as a result.
