I'm trying to raise money for my body lift surgery for the following reasons:
1. I can't afford it on my own in the near future and I am healthy enough now to have one surgery to complete this! Many people need to have two surgeries (Upper and lower) because they aren't healthy enough to have it all at once. Recovery is SERIOUS from this surgery, so only having to do it once sounds awesome!
2. I have medical and emotional struggles because of the excess skin (Sores, Posture/Back pain issues, and obviously it's emotionally taxing to be deformed after everything i've overcome so far.)
3. I would like to move on with my life and feel completely healthy for the first time since I was a little girl!
4. I want to be an example that you should go after your goals without hesitation, and that FEAR, shame, and embarrassment are just roadblocks to success.
I am ready to dive into this, to get through this final obstacle and CROSS THE FINISH LINE. To be the athlete I dream of, to be in the best shape of my life. To live free of the remnants of my obesity! To pave the way for others, and help people who are searching for the same freedom!
To accomplish this would liberate me and allow me to move on and achieve other goals in my life. It took me 25 years of being overweight, but I never gave up!!

Lastly, if you're wondering about the random bikini shot in the video, it stemmed from an idea that my mentor had about doing this video all around wearing a bikini. I shot the video in May and a pool was surprisingly hard to procure, so if you want to know about me and my Bikini aspirations read the blog below!
