UPDATED: FREE MY MEXICAN FATHER
My name is Isabella Gonzalez Kaminski, and I am a Mexican and Canadian citizen whose Mexican father has been detained and fighting for his innocence.
My father, Roberto Gonzalez, who lives in Mexico, has been wrongfully accused of a crime and imprisoned, despite the fact that he is innocent; and yet he has NOT been convicted.
This GoFundMe campaign will be using the donations toward paying for our attorneys in Mexico, whom have been working around the clock since July 19th to free my Dad and prove his innocence. We believe justice and truth will prevail. It will take a village to make this happen. Although the story has been twisted on various platforms, the only truth that remains is: that my father is innocent. Due to this, there has been speculation and various rumours. Those of you who know my father know that he has done nothing wrong.
My family is emotionally and mentally distraught. This time without my father has broken my heart, and has made me feel a pain I didn't know was possible to feel in a lifetime.
This is an extremely TIME SENSITIVE issue and we are in dire need of significant financial assistance in order to pay for our legal fees.
We share the victim’s family’s grief in this awful situation, and we do want justice for their loss – but we want justice for my innocent father as well.
I have all of my faith in God and I know that he will guide us all to strength. My father is kind, gentle and a resilient soul. We all know and love Roberto's positivity, generosity and kindness, and we must remain strong – standing WITH him during this difficult time filled with speculation.
We are desperate to have him home with us, and your help we can make this possible. We are extremely appreciative of your generosity. Without it, we will not reach our goal of freeing my father.
