My name is Melianj, Im 21 from South Bay, Ca.
I'm raising money directly to help my mother cover overdue rent from February, March, and my credit card bill.
As a full time artist of 2 years I didn't think I would find myself in the position to make a gofundme because I've made it this far always working for what I need; let alone having a hard time asking for help but at this point there is nothing more I can physically do to make money fast enough.
My mother is a healer for a living, extremely passionate about what she does working as a 61 year old women almost 60 hours for 7 days a week. Living in America has been a challenge considering she was raised in Croatia, always working through the language barrier and cultural differences; almost all of my family live in another country.
At the moment however my mother is at risk of eviction and I'm raising this money to help her keep a roof over her and our cat's head.
It's extremely stressful living in an unstable home. I've been in and out of spaces my whole life, I couldn't feel at home. The last few years I experienced a series of events that really showed my purpose in life through creating art. I've decided to break from this cycle to put myself in an environment where I can focus on my career and work to change this financial strife forever.
March 20th I am moving to Britain where I will stay and expand my growing business, pursue modeling agencies, as well as help my disabled father.
I appreciate any and every contribution towards this, Im asking for exactly what we need to clear debt; nothing less, nothing more. Leaving the country knowing that my is stable means a lot to me. Bless!
