Final Expenses of Nancy Schneider

My beloved aunt, Nancy Schneider, joined the heavenly Angels on July 30, 2018 after a valiant battle with breast cancer.  While she did not fear death, she struggled with her dying process during her final days and hours.  She was extremely worried about the continued care of her dependent adult son, Ben, despite her careful planning.  Many of her friends and loved ones have asked how to acknowledge Nancy and help the family at this difficult time.  We are so touched and appreciative of this desire.  It would be her wish to contribute towards her final cremation and medical expenses so that her estate can devote funds towards Ben's medical and living expenses.   Alternatively, donations to any veteran or animal charity in her honor would make her smile.

Nancy approached death with such dignity and grace, just as she lived her life.  Despite the many challenges and losses she experienced during her lifetime, she always remained positive and shared her beautiful smile and spirit often.  She cherished her family, friends and loved ones, and her time spent at the El Paso Police Department and Wal-Mart Headquarters.  She spoke often of this towards the end.  She enjoyed the many email and voicemail messages, visits, and phone calls in her final months.  It brought her joy and comfort, and the family is so grateful to everyone that reached out.

Nancy was looking forward to joining her husband Jon in heaven, and continuing the wonderful life they had on earth.  Her family is finding comfort knowing she is no longer in pain, and believing she and Jon are reunited and visiting others that preceded her in death.

Nancy asked that she not be mourned; rather, she wanted everyone to remember the many good times and celebrate her life and relationships.  And, in true Nancy fashion, during any gatherings to celebrate her life she wants us to "play Enya music...lots of it."
