Fijian Conua School

Last week we stayed at the Outrigger Resort on the Fijian Island of Nadi. The Outrigger, aside from being beautiful and perfect for families, has a philanthropic side too. It gives back to its community through their efforts with the Conua (pronounced Thonua) School.
When the Outrigger first discovered the struggling school in 2010, it had holes in the roof and a pass rate of 30%. Now with enrollment higher than ever the students have a library, a computer lab, and more smiles than you can imagine. Oh, and last year their pass rate was 89%!
We were able to spend a day touring the school, teaching English in a classroom, and playing with the children. I left knowing that I wanted to help.
The school has come a long way, but it’s a school in a developing country that is in need of basic items that we take for granted.
One person can always make a difference but a vital part of social change is the power of numbers. Please help me change the future for these children by donating. 100% of the money goes towards purchasing school supplies like paper, pens, and notebooks.
