Myrtle Sue's Fight Against Myeloma

"Hey guys, Myrtle Sue here!" Any of us that know her or her mama, Allie, have heard that phrase a few times!  Myrtle Sue was a normal, crazy, 4 year old Vizsla, until a few weeks ago when she became ill.  Allie took her to the vet, and a workup revealed the devastating news.  Myrtle has cancer.  CANCER, those words can't be real.  She has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer of the bone marrow.  She has multiple plasma tumors on her spleen, and a large one on her liver.  She has been started on steroids and chemotherapy, and begins her battle to fight this disease.  The average life expectancy is 1.5 years with treatment.  She is young and strong, and ready to fight.  Allie is determined to do what is best for Myrtle Sue, and we want to help do what we can for them to help their fight.  Her amazing family (Bryan, Chester, Myrtle Sue, and Gavin) also found out that a little bundle of joy will be coming in January!   The cost of the diagnosis and treatment is ongoing, and all of this is taking a toll on them emotionally and financially.  Please consider donating to allow them to give Myrtle her best chance in this battle. #fightlikemyrtlesue
