Fighting With Faith--Kia's Cancer Battle

Donation protected
Kia is a very loving and caring person. She has always been so vibrant, easy-going, and one of the most kind-hearted persons you could ever meet. First diagnosed with Kidney Cancer (Renal Cell Carcinoma) in 2014, she had her right kidney removed, as it appeared to all be contained in that area only.  All was good until 2yrs later, in 2016, when she was told it was back, with a vengeance, and this time in her liver and lungs. She has undergone various treatments and surgeries for the past 3 years, and her last hospital stay was for 17 days. These different treatments and medications and surgeries have taken a toll on her mentally, physically and financially.  She has lost over 30lbs, and not because she wanted to.  Although she was on medical leave and had doctors notes for verification,  she was let go from her job with the State, due to her inability to guarantee that she could come and do the job. Along with ALL of this, Kia has 4 children that she supports. So, you can only imagine the mental strain that puts on everything. Travelling from Tallahassee to Tampa for treatments and second opinions was very costly. From doctor's appointment co-pays to sometimes having to pay out of pocket for meds, is costly. Kia will still be travelling for treatments, and depending on what is suggested or recommended, she may have to stay overnights and/or be admitted to different facilities. So much of her future is unknown, especially when it comes to the Cancer (treatments, surgeries, etc.) but helping to ease the financial burden would be greatly appreciated. Her children sometimes will have to travel and stay in different places with her, along with her mom, who is also disabled. I am asking any and everyone who can and will to please donate to help assist her in her battle, and to help with the needs of her children. School will be starting back soon and as we all know, children are constantly growing. Her kids will need clothes, shoes, supplies,  etc., the things that all kids normally need. Not to mention just help with everyday living. If she didnt need this assistance, it would not be asked for. Kia is a very self-sufficient person, but right now she needs help, financially. All who can and will, please donate to this Beautiful woman and her family. All donations,  of any amount will be Greatly Appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support. We will try to keep updating as progress in her health is made. God Bless You All.
