Fighting for Life - Jennifers Story

My name is Shannon.  As many of you know, my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Estrogen Positive as well as HER2 Positive) in June 2014.  She went through chemotherapy, surgery then radiation that lasted a year and 3 months.  She eventually recovered and spent the next year and a half enjoying life again. 

 

March 2017 we received the worst news imaginable.  The cancer had metastasized to other areas and is now categorized as stage 4.  We were devastated to hear this news.  My mother put on her fighting shoes again and started radiation and chemotherapy again!!  The only difference this time is, she isn’t fighting for a clean bill of health, she is fighting for her life.  She hasn’t given up.  She has researched everything and anything related to cancer and trials, different treatments and nutrition that can help slow the cancer.

 

We have researched and discovered a clinic in the US that offers a unique and personalized treatment for cancer.  Your cancer treatment is created and administered specifically to what drives your cancer cells.  There have been amazing results.  We have been in contact with the clinic in Arizona and the treatment sounds promising.  We have also listened to on line testimonials of people who were palliative, as my mom is and they have recovered.  My mom isn’t ready to sit back and let this cancer steal her life, but treatment may cost up to 100,000 dollars and insurance doesn’t cover it.  She is hoping to start the process within the next month.


 
We are reaching out to family and friends to help support my mother’s fight against cancer and sending her to Envita Medical Center.  We would appreciate any donation and would be forever grateful.
