Fighting Cancer while Pregnant with No Insurance

Donation protected
Please bear with me as this is emotionally hard for me to write.

My Son Chase and Cheyenne his wife have been together since they were 16 years old and are high school sweethearts and have built a family and life together at only 24 and 25 years old. They have a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old and are expecting their 3rd baby boy at any time. They spend their off time giving back to the community by coaching and being team mom for the Pinellas Park T-Birds football and baseball at Davis field for their boys.
Chase and Cheyenne just got married last November and since then life has been extremely hard on them. Chase and Cheyenne got pregnant with a 3rd blessing right before the pandemic and was very scared of it, in July the whole family contracted the Corona Virus. With Chase being the only source of income and having to be out of work for 2+ weeks they had to use his Vacation days to make ends meet.
During all of this Cheyenne got a swollen lymph node and the Dr’s kept an eye on it and wasn’t worried until a few weeks ago another bump showed up on her neck and she wasn’t feeling well and new something was just off. Chase brought Cheyenne to the emergency room because she was having a hard time swallowing. After 3 days of lots of testing Cheyenne was diagnosed with Papillary thyroid cancer.
Cheyenne’s thyroid and lymph nodes need to be removed immediately before if it spreads to other lymph nodes or down her chest which can cause a lot more problems. This possess a problem because she’s pregnant and the baby’s lungs are not fully developed for delivery yet.
While trying to process all of this we then found out Cheyenne and Chase has no insurance to cover this and it is putting them into a major predicament. They’ve applied for help and got denied for just a little bit over the cut off.
Cheyenne’s team of Dr.s are still going to proceed to help but we still have to figure out how we can pay for this. She has been scheduled a C section and a few days later they scheduled her for her cancer and thyroid removal of her neck. Then shortly after their will be chemo expenses, as well as medication she will have to take for the rest of her life.

We never thought in a million years our kids would go from being overjoyed to having another baby and celebrating their 1st year of marriage to their world crashing down overnight. Fear has cut through them wondering if their baby boy will be okay and if Cancer will defeat the Life they have built together. As their parents, we do not know how to make this better for them. We all are so overwhelmed with so many emotions at once. The only thing we can do is Pray and remind them that they are not alone in this and do everything in our power to help. Chase will be missing a lot of work to welcome their Baby and be by his wife’s side through all this trying time. They are fearful of loosing the roof over their children’s head because the bills do not stop. I ask you all if you can spare a Prayer, a dollar or two, anything and everything will make a difference at this time! Even just kind words to let them know they are not alone in this fight.

Thank you,
