Kimbo's Stage IV Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Kimberlee Lynch is one of the strongest, most incredible woman you will ever meet. She is a mother, a caregiver, a friend, and true blessing to those who know her. Kimberlee is a mother to three children, 23 year old twin girls Page and Shannon and a 16 year old boy named Shane.

Kimberlee Lynch has and continues to have a long and tumultuous battle with cancer. In August of 2008, Kimberlee was diagnosed with Stage IV Triple Negative Imflammatory breast cancer and was given 90 days to live. Her life was flipped upside down. She underwent chemo, a double masectomy, radiation and chemo again and was finally pronounced cancer free. The lasting effects were still devastating. After having 13 lymph nodes removed, she was left with lymphedema
, a condition that caused her arm to swell due to the lack of circulation of the blood.

Yet her life with cancer did not end there. Four years after her initial diagnosis, her husband was diagnosed with Stage IV glioblastoma multiformea, a fast acting brain tumor where he was given 15 months to live. Kimberlee took on the role as his caregiver. She helped him to bathe, go to the bathroom, and helped make sure that his fight was fought with dignity. Yet while helping her husband fight, she started to have pains of her own. She continued to take care of him even with all her continuous pain. 13 months after her husband's diagnosis, her husband passed away leaving the family with absolutely nothing.

Kimberlee was left with taking care of her three children and herself. She had a plan to turn things around and make a life for her family.

Yet six months after her husband passed away, Kimberlee was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in May of 2014. Her body was riddled with tumors in her lung, her lymph nodes, her spine, her adrenal gland, and her brain. She was given 1 year to live. She was fighting for her life all over again.

She recieved radiation and chemo and was put in the hospital for over a month due to a blockage in her intestinal tract caused by the radiation. She was able to get out of the hospital yet the chemo continulously put her in and out of the hospital. She was worsening by the minute.

One day she just couldn't seem to breathe and was sent to the hospital. One of her lungs had collapsed. She went into surgery to remove the small, balloon-like tissues that were filled with infection that seemed to collapse the lung. When going in, they were able to partially inflate the lung. Yet they found that the lung was riddled with tumors and it would most likely never function fully again.

It is hard for her to breathe, for her to talk, for her to laugh without coughing, gasping for air.

They decided to put her on a clinical trial. It seemed to be one of the last resorts. Yet more tumors began to grow, she kept having to go into the hospital. They realized that they might have given her the wrong diagnosis. After several tests of the new tumors, they realized that her diagnosis was actually Stage IV Breast with a Lung metastasis.

She was put on a new chemo called Taxol. While it began to really effect and seem to treat the tumors, it stopped its effect and new tumors have grown in her neck, her bones, her femur alongside the original tumors.

Kimberlee has beaten the odds thus far. It has been 2 years since her last diagnosis. Yet she is far from better. Her fight is only getting harder.

On Tuesday May 31st, Kimberlee is going to be kicked off of her insurance plan. She will no longer be able to pay for any pain medications or treatments that help her fight for her life.

With your donations Kimberlee will be able to continue this fight, to live, to see her son graduate from high school and go to college, to see her daughters get married and start their lives. With your help, Kimberlee can continue living. She can continuing being the amazing parent for her kids.

Please help Kimberlee in her fight. Please help her get a chance to live a life with dignity and to fight this horrible disease. We need any kind of support you can offer. Spiritually, emotionally, financially, etc. We will not be able to do this alone and we are desperate to help save Kimberlee's life.

We are so beyond thankful for all your donations! I know if anyone is deserving of it, it is my mom Kimberlee Lynch!
