Brad Daddis, is suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and it has created a great deal of hardship for his family through escalating medical expenses. As a fellow small business owner and MMA and CrossFit instructor, he has had a huge impact on the community of South Jersey and Philadelphia.

To show our support, we are banding together for a fundraiser event. The event will feature a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminar, a CrossFit workout, and auction followed by a BBQ for attendees. The fundraiser will be held Saturday June 30th.
For more information on the event check out: Fight Gone Brad Event
Or register directly at FightGoneBrad.com

We have setup this Go Fund Me page for people who can't attend the event and want to donate directly.

What is CTE?

CTE is a brain disease that results from changes in the brain. The brain of a person with CTE gradually deteriorates and tau proteins begin to become defective and interfere with neuron functioning. These changes can affect how a person thinks, feels, acts, and moves. Traumatic brain injuries, including concussions, and repeated hits to the head, called subconcussive head impacts, may lead to CTE.

Who is affected by CTE?

CTE was originally only thought to exist with boxers but it was later discovered in victims of physical abuse, head banging and poorly controlled epilepsy. Now it is being associated with athletes playing contact sports including American football, ice hockey, soccer, wrestling, extreme sports, as well as veterans and military personnel with a history of being exposed to repetitive hits from training or blasting. One of the largest concerns is the growing discovery of CTE in high school and college athletes and tragically athletes who only played sports at the youth level.
