Operation Pop Smoke

All of us know a veteran, maybe they are your neighbor, maybe they are your father or brother, sister or spouse. 22 Veterans commit suicide daily. Time is of the essence, we can not afford to wait another day and lose more of our friends, family and loved ones. You CAN help end veteran suicide. OPS is the next evolution in ending veteran suicide. It takes in account everything we have learned in the last 3 years and presents it in a user friendly platform. The app instantly connects soldiers who are struggling with the effects of war with other soldiers… all via text.  The users build their very own squad of trusted battle buddies, and if things start heating up the soldier does exactly what he or she is trained to do… pop smoke. This “pop smoke” alert instantly notifies the user’s squad. It is a tool to help the veteran reestablish the squad mentality they were accustomed to in the military. The support network and reliability that the squad/ fire team provides is unmatched anywhere in the world. The comradery and trust the members of the squad have with one another are second to none and provide the foundation necessary to be successful in the most difficult of situations. OPS seeks to reestablish these squads and fireteams outside of the military to help veterans thrive after serving their country.
