Fields 4 Valor Farms needs your support! This month, the farm needs $4,800 to cover rent, utilities, operational costs, and - most importantly - seeds.
What is Fields 4 Valor?
Fields 4 Valor Farms (F4V) is a Non-Profit Organization that provides food, education, and employment to veterans, veteran family members, and Gold Star families.
The organization's mission is "to have a positive and sustaining impact on the lives of veterans and their families through the healing power of food and agriculture."
It was founded by Peter Scott, who served 11 years in the Army and was deployed to Afghanistan and Pakistan with Special Forces.
After his deployments, Pete participated in Dog Tag Inc. 's fellowship program, where he developed and implemented his business plan to grow food for veterans in need.
Fields 4 Valor is already making a significant difference in the lives of Walter Reed families in the DC area.
What can you do?
Contribute as much as possible before May 1, 2018 to help this worthy cause continue to grow and flourish.
You can also donate to F4V on an ongoing basis to sustain Pete's mission to feed veterans and their families.
