Functional Curriculum for Autism

Individuals with Autism benefit from support to help them understand information and express themselves. Activities that incorporate movement  and sensory experiences help to keep the students engaged and motivated . Materials and tasks may need to be modified according to the needs of each student, so an individualized curriculum is best. My goal is to be able to support these amazing individuals by meeting their specific needs,using materials that are going to allow for meaningful opportunities through the use of appropriate tools. That can only lead to joy and excitement for us all!
