This scholarship is open to any senior, who is an openly LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning) youth, or one of their allies attending Framingham High School who has been accepted to and will be attending a college or a trade school in the fall.
The applicant must have participated in actively promoting or contributing to a safe and equitable educational environment for LGBTQ youth and in educating Framingham Public School Community (staff, faculty, and students) about homophobia, bullying and other issues and events that affect LGBTQ youth to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students regardless of their age, race, creed, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status, or socioeconomic status.
