MISSION:
Pay off the Lorrie Godwin's home and give it to her as gift from her Late quadriplegic son, Travis. He wanted nothing more than this for his mother. At the age of 37, Travis passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 of complications associated with his condition.
My heart goes out to his family - particularly his mother Lorrie. She is at a complete loss. Travis was 6 years old when the family car was hit by drunk driver breaking Travis's neck. Since then Lorrie has literally been at his side. For 31 years this was her life. While others were out building careers, paying off mortgages, earning retirements, etc... Lorrie was there at Travis's side giving constant care. For this reason I want paying off Lorrie's house as a gift to her - a gift from her son.
I started this campaign when Travis was still alive. Some have said it is going to be tough to continue to raise money now that Travis is gone. I say he is not gone - I say his spirit is still with us, pushing this cause along for his mother who gave her life for his care - I say now is the time to push even harder!!
