Help me give Lorrie her house.
Pay off the Lorrie Godwin's home and give it to her as gift from her Late quadriplegic son, Travis. He wanted nothing more than this for his mother. At the age of 37, Travis passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 of complications associated with his condition.
My heart goes out to his family - particularly his mother Lorrie. She is at a complete loss. Travis was 6 years old when the family car was hit by drunk driver breaking Travis's neck. Since then Lorrie has literally been at his side. For 31 years this was her life. While others were out building careers, paying off mortgages, earning retirements, etc... Lorrie was there at Travis's side giving constant care. For this reason I want paying off Lorrie's house as a gift to her - a gift from her son.
I started this campaign when Travis was still alive. Some have said it is going to be tough to continue to raise money now that Travis is gone. I say he is not gone - I say his spirit is still with us, pushing this cause along for his mother who gave her life for his care - I say now is the time to push even harder!!
For this reason I am still committed to paying off Lorrie's house and giving it to her. Some have said it is going to be tough to continue to raise money now that Travis is gone. I say he is not gone - I say his spirit is still with us, pushing this cause along for his mother who gave her life for his - I say now is the time to push even harder.
Please accept my, Travis's, and Travis's family's sincere appreciation for your help and donations. Stick with with me in this cause and we will succeed. I am a busy young father and need your help. I cannot do this alone. Reach out and lift Lorrie and I promise you will feel Travis lifting you. Please share this cause in whatever form you can. Feel free to reach out to me and get involved.
Services will be held Saturday November 25th (Tomorrow) at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary - 3408 Washington Blvd. The viewing is from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm with a celebration of life beginning at 2:00 pm.

Also, Lorrie and Travis wanted to thank everyone personally so we thought it might be fun for them to make an appearance on our gofundme page! They have also written a thank you below.
"My mom and I would like to thank everyone that has contributed. We really appreciate all of you that donated to this cause. Without your help we couldn’t have made it this far. Thank you for the support you’ve given my mom for everything she's done for me. I couldn’t have asked for more. She truly deserves it. Thank you Anthony for setting this up and for all you've have done to keep us in our home. We’re truly grateful. To all that have donated - you're angels and a great blessing!
I am not sure what income the family is receiving, however, if the father did in fact pass away from agent orange exposure, there is a good chance the mother is entitled to survivor benefits through the veterans administration. I believe the current survivor pension is around $1100 a month. This would definitely be something to look in to if they have not already done so. They can contact the Disabled American Veterans for assistance.
My mother Lorrie Godwin and Travis Campf raised me on this home and busted there butts to make sure my sister Faustine Shupe and I always were taken care of.. my brother was paralyzed when he was seven years old and never gave up the fight. Help me please!!! https://www.gofundme.com/4slrugg
My mom ran an in-home daycare for 30+ years and wanted to make a career change. She now does end of life care, championship for the elderly (run errands, visiting, light cleaning), and in-home care for paralyzed individuals. I fully support raising money to help payoff the house; however, this mom would be a blessing to other families who have relatives in need of care....and it is an awesome way to make a living too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIhcZicq6xk Thank you all so much here is a slide show I made for my brother and mother thank you again for all the support!
This mother stood by her sons side 24/7 365 days a year for 30+ years to provide around the clock care to Travis. She truly is the face of a mother's love for her child. She gave up her life and devoted her love energy and time to provide the best care for her son. This is the least we can do ban together to give her this gift she deserves peace of mind and a place to call home.
Thinking of you Travis ❤️
