Send the USA to the Fête du Pain

“The Fête du Pain is an annual twelve-day Bread Festival in France that celebrates bread. In Paris, the Fête takes place just in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Last year, over 200,000 people strolled through the Fête to watch bakers work and to buy their products. This year, for the first time, the United States has been invited to send a team of bakers. This is a great honor, as foreign bakers are almost never invited to participate. Twenty-four qualified bakers have been selected to represent the U.S. The event runs from May 5—16.
