Females Athletes Stand Together

We have started a group on Columbia's campus called Female Athletes Stand Together, otherwise known as FAST. We are focused on creating support and a sense of togetherness for all of the female student athletes on Columbia's campus. As of now, we have nearly 75 women with indicated interest in being apart of our organization. Our mission statement is to empower female athletes, so we will be raising money for Power Play NYC, an organization that raises money with the aim to advance the lives of girls through participation in athletics. This semester, we are aiming to raise $2,000, enough money to fund four girls in a college readiness program for an entire year.
