Felicia's Emergency Fund

Felicia Evans is one of our most dedicated Child Watch and Welcome Center employees here at the Moorer YMCA.  Most of you know her as a constantly smiling face around the branch since she's here Monday through Friday, either taking care of your children or making sure that everyone is greeted when they walk in the door. For the past two weeks, Felicia has been experiencing an allergic reaction to an unknown source. Having thought it may be spider bites, she got an exterminator to come do a home inspection. The results were devastating. She has a bed bug infestation, and she now needs to throw out anything that can't be treated immediately. She needs to replace her mattresses, pillows, livingroom furniture, etc.

On top of the infestation, Felicia is highly allergic to bed bugs. She has had several unplanned doctor's visits to get to the bottom of it and treat the symptoms of her allergic reaction.
