"Feeling Unreal" Proof of Concept

Feeling Unreal is a mental health-focused feature film representing the raw realities of living with depersonalization disorder, PTSD, anxiety, acute stress disorder, harm OCD, depression and suicide ideation. The feature film script has been written into a proof of concept which will be shot with the funds raised from this campaign.
Logline:
“When an emerging actress develops depersonalization disorder during her professional theatre debut, she must gain control over her newfound illness before her director terminates her contract.”
Inspired by a true story, Feeling Unreal was written for those in need of a raw, vulnerable, realistic portrayal of misrepresented and underrepresented mental illnesses in the media. It was written for those searching for inspiration on ways they can help their struggling loved ones. But most of all, it was written for those struggling to find hope.
Funds from the campaign will be going towards the director of photography, equipment, theatre rental, craft services, honorarium for actors, actor's insurance and post production.
The project will be contracted under the ACTRA Co-op Agreement.
