Families In Need

Hi guys I'm Christi! I'm 18 years old and I would like to ask those of you all over the US to please help my campaign. I've recently overcome extreme poverty and I would like to help others who are still in the same position that I was able to finally escape from. It took a lot of help and several jobs later to finally get me and my family of 6 out of my aunts one bedroom apartment that was located in a not so safe area. My father lost his job which is what caused us to become homeless. My mother died when I was 12. I am the oldest child so I felt that it was my responsibilty to help out our family. After 3 years we were able to get a home of our own. We are not well off but we are not hungry at the least. Becoming homeless and not having any food to eat is a very scary thing to go through as a child.My very own experience has opened my eyes to the poverty in America that millions are faced with everyday. I just would like to be able to help feed, cloth, and shelter others that are in dyer need. No amount is too small and even a quarter will help.Thanks for all of your help!Christi
