Feed Medical Lake

Food donations to food banks and food service agencies have recently declined meaning we have to purchase more of the food items we serve to the citizens of Medical Lake, Fairchild Air Force Base, Cheney, Airway Heights, and other nearby communities in Eastern Washington State.  Although our volunteers carry out two to three fund raisers a year, our funds are depleting rapidly with the holidays coming on.  Donating now will ensure we can feed all who come to our tables through the end of 2018 and into 2019.  We have a super staff of about 25 volunteers, some of whom come from 65 miles away to serve our clientele.  There are 11 members on the board of directors, all of whom have a disability ranging from mild to moderate.  Two work from a wheelchair.  NONE of the volunteer positions receives a salary.  Feed Medical Lake partners with Feed Spokane, Second Harvest Food Bank, Inland Northwest, Union Gospel Mission, and Meals on Wheels; however, as stated above, donations to these, and other agencies, have declined in recent months, and they share with many, many food pantries, meal sites, etc., in Spokane County and across Eastern Washington.  Your donation will help ensure we can continue our meal program well into Spring 2019.   The volunteers of Feed Medical Lake, and the people we serve, appreciate your generosity.
