I am trying to cover cost for our beautiful Black Bombay Cat named Pheonix to have an amputation surgery.
He is currently being cared for by the Katherine Veterinary Climic on second street. On Wednesday 17th Feb 2016 he was involved in a fight with another cat and a large dog. He has broken his front right leg and with the break being so large and so close to the wrist joint a cast cannot be applied and to pin and insert rods would climb into the $5000 region and so after lots of research and talking with his vet we have decided to opt for the amputation as he has such a great chance at recovering and rehabilitating. Many cats and dogs live very happy and unrestricted lives with just 3 legs and I am prepared to help him every step of the way.
