FCHS Theatre in Scotland

The Franklin County High School Theatre Co. was selected to perform as part of the American High School Theatre Festival in the Edinburg Theatre Fringe Festival. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest theatre festival in the world hosting around 40,000 performances each year. Inside of that festival, there is The American High School Theatre Festival where high schools are chosen from all over the United States to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In order to be selected, a high school has to be nominated by a college or national theatre professional who believes that the high school theatre program deserves such an experience and honor as this opportunity. Once a high school is nominated, they have the opportunity to send in an application to be reviewed by a board of theatre professionals to be selected to perform as this festival. Only around 60 school groups are chosen each year, so it is a great honor that Franklin County High School was chosen. The students have worked so hard, and deserve this honor without a doubt. In order to be able to be apart of this festival, the program will have to fundraise around $180,000. This is a great amount to obtain, but with the help of the community, this goal is definitely attainable. Please help by donating to this cause!
