Summary:
My name is Lance James. I have been kept away from my children for over 7 years now. The last time I saw them was when they were 7 and 8. They are now 14 and 15. I have a daughter (Rhea) who is the younger one and my son (Gabriel).
I have been fighting in the court system for multiple years now, with an excellent attorney named Lori Viviano in San Diego . http://viviano-law.com/ She has been so kind that I have had a huge bill for a long time, and she's taken on this case allowing me to pay monthly $1000.00 towards a very large bill. Unfortunately, the bill is growing. And we are at a crucial time in this case. Lori and her team have been miracle workers, but they deserve to be paid too. This is costly for everyone. My last payment I was able to throw $5000.00 dollars at it. It was the best I can do.
Last week (april 28th) I flew from my place of residence in NYC to San Diego to meet my children for the first time under court-ordered (judge) therapeutic reunification (this is where a therapist mediates this process). I was so nervous and anxious for this moment, but it's been the moment I have been waiting for this moment for 7 years. And... Mom shows with no kids and tells the therapist it's not happening and leaves. I'm heartbroken. But I'm more heartbroken for these children that have been absent of a loving and willing father trying to be a part of their lives in any way I can. I flew back...
Long run short. I am paying $5500/mo in child support to not be able to see my children... the reality is that if I have the children in my life I pay less, but they are much more enriched. Mom's actions are hurting the children's well-being all the while costing me money I don't have.
We are trying to file an ex-parte hearing in response to this so that we can remedy the situation and get their father (me) in their lives. This is hurting the kids in the long run.
I have attached the legal bill and the last transcript of the judge ordering the dates for the reunification.
Also if you do not want to pay via to GFM you can directly contact the law offices of Lori Viviano and pay there. You will need to sign this 3rd party authorization form and send it to them at vivianoatty[@] gmail[.]com and I will sign on my end once they are sent the copy.
We are at the last stage, and it's all halted because of the costs incurring that are prohibitive based on actions of others that do not want to adhere to court orders and the law.
If 100 people can send in $320 dollars we can move forward and get these kids a father in their life, which is priceless.
