We're pretty certain you are madly in love with Your Oshkosh Farmers Markets...and here's your chance to truly be a part, by becoming a 'Friend of the Market'.
You probably know that the Saturday Market has been ranked one of the top 101 markets in the country the last 4 years running, and that weekly attendance is over 10,000 people. Your market also has more vendors than most in the country, averaging 140 vendors per week in 2016. And we're certain you know, deep down, how excellent it is to head to your downtown every Saturday morning to see friends, experience our lovely city, and have amazing access to local and delicous food.
You may not know, however, that Your market is one of the few privately run markets in the country. It is staffed by volunteers, and managed by the board and by Karlene and Dennis Leatherman. The market is supported only through private donations and vendor fees...no city or county support...and it is an expensive venture to pull off...fees to the city, music licensing, live music, advertizing and promotion...it all adds up!
So...Your Market needs Your help to continue to be as awesome as it is! Any amount is great, and would be incredibly appreciated, as we should all be a Friend of the Market...
