Family loses home of 40 years

I am Kylie. I know a family who are caring, kind, and interested and proactive in community improvement. Today, their parents lost their home that they built and have lived in for 40yrs. Raising their children there, and building great memories for their grandchildren. I am raising money to help them get back on their feet, and so they can begin to rebuild their life, at an age when you should be comfortable and not having to worry.
The money will be used to buy essentials such as clothing, personal products, blankets etc (It's beginning to get cold here).
They will need funds pretty soon for immediate needs, while they wait for insurance claims to come through so they can begin to re-build.
This is extremely important to me, as their grandson is also a friend of my son, and he has always come over to check if my son is ok every time he is unwell, or has been to hospital. It is obvious that the values of this family have been passed down to the next generation. I want to do something that honours and appreciates these values, and to somehow give back.
