Family left with nothing after fire
This is going to sound like a bad dream, so just hang on. Our close family friend’s apartment located on Georges Rd in North Brunswick was completely devastated by a house fire last night. The entire family plus their dog Tanchito were forced to jump out of the 2nd story window just to survive. Amanda and Ismael both suffered injuries during the jump that will both require surgery and Ismael will not be able to work for at least 2-3 months. He has 2 children and is currently left wondering how he will be able to provide for them.
Amanda’s 15 year old son, Edward, is nearing the end of a long battle with cancer and their life was finally starting to come back to normal. The mother was set to go back to work in 1-2 months and unfortunately that will now be delayed due to her surgery due to a broken leg
They literally have NOTHING left. Both cars in the picture are presumably totaled or very close to it. All clothes, toys, memories…everything gone. The only things they have left are their lives.
If you can find it in your heart to donate it would be greatly appreciated.
My goal is to raise this family in need of desperate help $100,000 or more to not only re-establish their lives, provide them with housing, but also gain some positive momentum. They have been dealt a few very bad breaks recently and hopefully this is the last one.
Thank you and God bless.
I work for an organization that represents Santa - he had the privilege of visiting the family's children in person last Christmas. Please know that we have asked for donations of food, clothing, etc - you may reach me through Facebook so we can get the donations to you, and thus to the family. Thank you for your kind and loving effort on their behalf.
