Fako America Humanitarian Initiative for Internally Displaced Persons
Fako inhabitants are forced to flee their homes due to the armed conflict in West Cameroon. They remain at high risk of physical attack, sexual assult and multiple abductions, and frequently are deprived of adequate shelter, food, and health services according to the UN Human Rights Commission.
Our mission  is to help provide  assistance to as many displaced Fako Inhabitants within Cameroon, especially those currently seeking shelter in our local churches and villages. As resources allow, the key areas of our scheme will include medical, educational, and nutritional support for displaced persons and their families.
Fako America Humanitarian Initiative for Internally Displaced Persons is under the supervision of  FAKO AMERICA ASSOCIATION . We can make a difference  and an impact!
Our brothers and sisters are in desperate need of our help; please help us reach them today.
May God bless you and your families. May God heal the land of Cameroon.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT AT C.O.I.C BUEA DURING DISTRIBUTION OF PACKAGES TO FAKO
INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE (IDPS) NOV 24, 2018
Phase 1:
As recommended by the Oversees Team, we touched all the four Sub-Division of Fako. Most
people have evacuated from Muyuka areas (Munyenge, Ikata, Bafia, Ekona), some have ran from
Gwassa, Likombe, Wotutu. Still, some have left Kumba, Kwakwa, Ekondo Titi, Kandef, CDC Tiko, Mile
Four Limbe, Ilowani, Tole etc. These people have settled within Fako Division, and thanks to God we were able to locate them. There are still a plethora of them on the list that we have not served – about 150
and we are still identifying some. God willing we shall make our maximum impact.
With regards to today’s event, even though we invited 50 IDPs, surprisingly we served 61 of
them with packages and a few number that came we took down their names to serve them in the next
phase. In the course of counseling and the exchanges that we had with the IDPs today, we encountered
many cases of medical needs, scholarship needs and so on. For instance, there is a lady whose husband
was shot, the house burnt down; she has five children who aren’t going to school any longer due to economic hardship.
There’s a case of a 29 year old lady who was shot on the buttocks from Ikata who now lives at Bona-Lyonga
with her family; she has a small baby. She needs medical attention as her case warrants that she goes
for constant medical check-up. Update from Mr. Hans Manga.
