Hey everyone! My name is Faith Schreiner and I was born without my right forearm and hand. I am starting this gofundme in order to raise funds for the bionic hand I have been trying to obtain for the past year. As I have gotten older it has become more apparent to me how much having two hands would benefit me. Though I do get along pretty well without my right arm, having it would vastly improve my life. Small things that I do everyday would become easier or even possible for me! I’m very excited to see what this hand can do for me and my quality of life. I’ve always been extremely self conscious due to the fact that I’m missing a limb and it has always dictated what I can and can’t do or be. I am confident this arm will help me in the many things I want to do and also to become who I really want to be. We have been trying for a little over a year for this myoelectric hand and, although we didn’t plan to, have turned to fundraising. Insurance has denied my claim over and over only giving a small portion to cover visits to my prosthetist. Due to this, the costs of this arm have fallen completely in my hand(s). Any donation helps and means more to me than I can ever explain. I really appreciate all of the love and support I’ve been given and I can’t wait to live my life to its fullest ability.
