Faith Over Fear - Angel's Army
After months of battling a severe knee injury, our dear friend Angel Wilson was diagnosed with Spindle Cell Osteosarcoma on Friday, July 27th at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Her healing journey begins today, July 31st with her first round of chemotherapy. The doctors are requiring her to stay in Houston during the chemotherapy treatments. The plan of treatment is 4 rounds of intense chemo (3-4 weeks each) then 3-4 weeks off. The next step will be surgery to remove the tumor with knee reconstruction to follow.
While this is not the journey we all had hoped for, it is the path God chose for Angel's healing. She is encouraged and humbled by all the friends who have reached out so far. Please join us in prayer and support of this sweet family as they face each day with hope and faith!
