Fairytale Horse Needs Surgery Now!

Meet Atena.  A Magical horse plucked straight from a fairy tale who requires urgent life saving surgery and needs your help! 
It has been discovered that Atena has a large, aggressive, fast growing,   ovarian tumor and it needs to be removed right away.  The  surgeon commented that he has never seen such a fast growing benign tumor.  Following surgery, a full biopsy will be performed.  The cost is estimated at $6000.00.

Atena is owned by Lauren, a self employed, single mother of two young boys, who herself is suffering from debilitating life threatening auto immune disease and as such, her ability to work regularly has been greatly diminished. 
Atena has been Lauren's best friend, confidant and shoulder to cry on through the death of her father who's last gift to Lauren  was this magnificent, mythical horse. Whenever Lauren looks at this horse she remembers her father and his strength.  Especially when she endured abuse alongside her children during her marriage and throughout the ugly custody battle. And  now as she fights her own illnesses. Just as her father intended.  Whenever Lauren was with Atena, her calm and steady presence pulled her through all the fear and horror and helped her to find strength somehow. Now Lauren has vowed to  give this horse back all that she has given her but your help is greatly needed.
