We are gLAWcal - Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development - , a British think-tank that promotes sustainable development across the globe.
Beside carrying out research on a variety of non-trade issues, gLAWcal, every summer, organizes a Summer School, along with a Consortium of more than twelve universities.
The Summer Law Institute is meant to enrich the knowledge and experiences of its participants in the field of environmental law, sustainable development, copyright law, intellectual property law, and policy making . It is a unique program that takes place in Beijing, China each summer. The Summer Law Institute doesn’t only offer cutting-edge classes, it also provides its students with a mentorship programs and internship opportunities.
Our organization has established and facilitated a great number of scholarships during the previous edition of the Summer Law Institute. Unfortunately, our funds are not enough to cover all the excellent candidates that have applied for the 2017 Summer Program. We are committed to help all the valuable candidates attending the Summer Law Institute, as we believe this is a one in a lifetime opportunity.
Because of our devotion to the program, and considering the large number of requests, we decided to use all the available means to allow our applicants to achieve their dreams.
This is why we are asking for your help!
We strongly believe that education is the key for a better future and our candidates daily demonstrate it. Education has always been their priority, and their way to make their dreams come true.
