Neighborhood Youth Outreach Program
Our Neighborhood Youth Outreach Program is a community-centered outreach program ministry that empowers children, youth and their families to develop healthy relationships and lead responsible lives built on faith, hope and love. We believe each person is a unique individual deserving to be treated with dignity and love. We are committed to providing opportunities for youth to reach their full potential through involvement in arts-based programs, while at the same time providing a safe and nurturing place for youth to discover how great they can be.
This year our ministry is having financial difficulties that may jeaopradize the entire program year.
We are trying to raise $30,000 to keep the doors of our ministry open this year. We are hoping grant applications submitted this year will help us but until they arrive we can not open our ministry doors.
Can you help? Any contribution to the NYOP is a blessing.
Your contribution will allow our staff to teach arts based classes in dance, media, art and music. We will be able to supply the community kids with healthy snacks, homework help and most importantly a safe place with caring adults.
Many of our kids are latchkey children and whose home income is below the poverty line. Our ministry has served the Wilkinsburg community for 21 years and we need to continue to help by offering positive opportunities for children and their families.
Can you help?
We need to raise $3100.00 before July 15th 2017!!!
If you can help or know anyone that can help us reach this goal... we appreciate it and the doors of our youth ministry stays open! Can you help? We can do this!
