HOW IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE life changes. My name is Rino Nigro
my brother Anthony Nigro known to friends as Tony fell 3 steps from his backyard deck, he was rushed to the hospital, the next day he went through a 5 1/2 hour neck surgery and for several days was in critical condition. Finally Tony woke up in the ICU ward where he learned of his injuries to his SPINAL CORD and now relies on a respiratory to regulate his breathing. Tony remembers nothing prior to waking up in the ICU ward. It is going to be a long road to any form of recovery but until he is able to breath on his own and get off the respiratory there
is not much he can do. When at some point he is off respiratory and breathing on his own he should be able to drink and eat on his own.
Tony will then be sent to Rehab for Spinal Cord Injuries. After Rehab he will need a special Spinal Cord wheelchair and many renovations to his home to accommodate his situation. Tony has no feeling or movement in his arms and legs. Any contributions no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
