On Thanksgiving morning, a member of our Simply Vegas family was forced to face the one thing that no parent ever wants to face, the sudden loss of her oldest daughter Mairyn.
At just 12 years old Mairyn left us suddenly and far too soon.
Heidi is a valued member of not just our company, but also my team and the REALTOR community. She is a single mom and despite the challenges of this situation, she is always is a beaming ray of positivity. Her smile lights up whatever room she enters and the warmth she conveys is felt by all.
Heidi is strong, and in the next few weeks and months, I know she will find the strength and resolve to not only be there for Mairyn's younger sister Tatum, but to find the strength to carry on herself.
That being said, while she finds that strength, we can each do a small something to hold her up when she feels she can not stand. Our team will pick up her business and ensure it carries on so when she is ready to return it will still be intact. More than that, I don't want her to have to worry about anything except herself and Tatum, so I would like all of us to help share the considerable and unexpected costs that accompany such a tragedy.
I ask that you give what you can, don't worry about the goal, I have no idea if that number even accurately represents the amount needed, it may be more. The more we give, and it's such a simple thing to do, somehow it will make a very difficult situation better for her.
