Jungle garb: Goods for refugees.
Donation protected
Our neighbors in Calais need a helping hand.
My first trip to donate a van load of goods was in October.
I travelled along the south coast to collect the items people had kindly donated.
My van was half full by the time I got to Dover...! I filled the rest with wood for the building projects.
I spent all the money donated on the refugees. I paid for the costs of the trip (including cat sitting!) from my own pocket.
I have since been back to Calais, to Dunkirk and to Lesvos. My next trip will be to Dunkirk in April 2016.
All contributions will be gratefully accepted. There's a humanitarian crisis, you can help ease the suffering.
