Landon's Action Tracker Wheelchair
Hello! I am Landon and I was born with Cerebral Palsy. I am an avid hunter and also love to fish. I love to be outdoors especially with my dad! I also live in a woods and love to explore. The problem is that I often times get my wheelchair stuck or simply cannot get where I want to be. I also seem to always have my wheelchair dirty as I am an eleven year old boy. It's hard to clean it up every time I want to get in the house. I've seen the Action Tracker Wheelchair many years when I've gone to the Deer/Turkey Expo. I have sat in one each year dreaming of the year I might possibly get one myself. I am now big enough to use a standard sized chair that I won't grow out of. It also lets me stand up so I can stretch and let gravity help my bones grow the way they should. I've never seen a wheelchair help like this before! My adoptive parents are all for this new machine. The problem is the price tag. If you could please help my dream of exploring and hunting independently come true I'd be forever grateful.+ Read More
Our family continues to be speechless and countlessly blessed. Landon is in his Action Tracker and we also now have a trailer to take it on grand adventures. Landon's friends' families ( Evan, Evan and Grant) helped by organizing a Lemonade Stand that helped finish fundraising. In a time when there is so much negativity in our world this experience helps us remember how much good is there too. God has had you all intersect in our lives for such great reasons. Thank you ALL from the bottoms of our hearts. God bless.
We continue to be in awe of the support for Landon and our family. His face lights up when we read your comments to him. They are so warm and heartfelt. Words truly can't frame the emotions we are feeling as we watch the donations grow. We are blessed by your support and love. Thank you.
Blessings keep raining down on us! This morning Channel 3000 came to our home to spread the word about the Gofundme.com page. We are so amazed at the kindness being poured out on us. Maybe the older we get the clichés seem to be so true. It does take a whole village to raise a child! Especially one with special needs. Thank you for all of the inspiring comments! Another big thank you to Mark for coming to our house this morning so bright and early! God is so good to put you all in our lives.
We are so humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support from family and friends. We are truly blessed. Landon is a remarkable boy and we feel honored to raise him with so many people who have an interest in his well being. So lucky are we! God bless you all!
