Praise the LORD! Love Truth Ministries.com is asking for assistance in our mission to help our niece, Sunshine King receives a Quadriciser. Sunshine became paralyzed several years ago at the age of 24. Since that time she has tried many pieces of exercise equipment to improve her condition. After experiencing many types of equipment we have determined that the Quadriciser is the best choice.
When Sunshine was able to try the quadriciser she began to get feeling in her legs, she witnessed other people with various types of paralysis recover. Most therapies that she has been given to use only work her arms and that is not having enough of an effect on her legs or spinal cord. We all saw a difference in her body when she was using the quadriciser at a therapy center. However, the therapy center is too far for her to get to and her insurance does not cover the use of the machine. She really needs this equipment in her home so that she can use it every day. The quadriciser cost $25,000 that includes shipping and handling. We have witnessed people who were in coma’s be able to be put on the quadricizer and eventually come out of their coma’s and begin talking and slowly using arms and legs that were once paralyzed.
Sunshine’s story from her Aunt and Mom’s point of view
Sunshine was a vibrant, happy, loving and caring young woman of 24 years of age who was brutally gunned down, by her husband, while on her way to work on Saturday, November 6, 2004, at about 6:04 am. As she left to go to work that day she was especially excited because she was implementing a dance program with the young ladies she was responsible for on her job.
Prior to this tragic day, Sunshine King was a loving wife, loving mom of their 3-year-old son, an energized runway model for local designers, dance instructor at Movements Unlimited Performing Arts Company Inc. She was a graduate of The Baltimore School For The Arts with a major in Dance. She loved encouraging others through modeling, hair design, and dance.
I watched her in therapy and observed how hard she worked to learn how to use her wheelchair and the limited types of machinery availed to her. When her Mom saw the Quadriciser and witnessed for herself how it had a positive effect on Sunshine’s body, they both knew it was a machine that could be a game changer for Sunshine.
Sunshine King is still encouraging others through her organization called “Sunshine Project H.E.L.P.” and “Sunshine Models on Wheels”. But let us work together to improve the health and possibilities for Sunshine by helping her receive her own “Quadriciser”.
What the Quadriciser can do:
The Quadriciser has been used by many patients who have lost the use of their arms or legs due to a spinal cord injury or the brain’s inability to send the impulses to the spinal cord and to the limbs. We have met patients at various stages of using this machine and personally witnessed miracles.
1. Patients with Multiple Sclerosis saw them being pushed into the facility for therapy and totally unable to use their arms, hands, or legs, also lacking control of their midsection. Then after many uses of the quadriciser machine and with the help of a caregiver or therapist over a period of a year or so be able to do the following:
a. Come out of a coma and speak again
b. If unable to move limbs, begin to move limbs
c. Gain strength and stand for the first time in years (in one case it had been over 15 years since one young lady had used her arms and stood with the use of a walker).
d. Gain strength and walk again with the use of a walker.
