Replacing a roof

My name is Allison, I am trying to raise money for my parents to get a new roof.  My parents are not in a stable financial situation to replace thier roof. Recently they lost home owners insurance because no one will carry them until they get a new roof put on. We have had many companies come and give us estimates between 9k and 14k. With these companies they have options to finance, but credit history and lower credit does not allow us to do that at this point in time. My husband and I even tried helping out and we were also denied because we don't own the home and because we do not have enough credit history. We have applied for many loans, many financing options and exhausted all of the recourses available. My mom currently is not able to work due to being disabled, and my dad works full time and even over time while facing his own health issues and it's still not enough. They are currently trying to work on thier credit but it will not be taken care of fast enough to get a roof. While not having home owners insurance if they don't not get a roof with a limited period of time they will be forced to surrender the house back to the bank. Even if we can just raise enough to get the materials and do it ourselves we are willing to try and do anything. Pleasee help, my parents have done so much for other people through out Thier life, weather it was helping others when in a bind, or letting me and my siblings friends stay with us for a long period of time without hesitation. They gave us what we have today, and without them I would be lost. We are not looking for a hand out just a little help, please help me raise money for them to get a new roof so they can obtain back thier home owners insurance, and keep this house they've made a home not just for them but for everyone that comes through the door.  A little bit goes a long way
