Help With Moving Costs

My name is Ojibway Whitebird, most people know me as Quay. At the end of July, my son and I will be moving to Portland, Oregon. I am a teacher with a professional teaching license from the WI DPI as well as a preliminary teaching license from the Oregon TSPC. My son is 10 years old and entering 5th grade this fall. We are both enrolled members of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. I have been teaching in Ashland, WI at the Oredocker Project School for the last 5 years. Currently, I am teaching a summer school class I have taught previous years for the School District of Ashland. I am teaching summer school because my former students asked me to teach the class one more time before I leave them. I haven't secured a teaching contract with a school district in Oregon. If I am unable to secure a full time teaching position, I plan to substitute teach for the 2019-20 school year in the greater Portland area.
I have been saving up money for this move for months, struggling to do so on a teacher's salary. Unfortunately, it is costing more than I estimated to fix my car so that it will make the 28 hour drive safely. I have cut back on all living expenses as much as possible. I am afraid that what I have been able to do on my own is not going to be enough.
Donations will help with the costs to finish fixing my car so that it is reliable to make the trip and able to pass the required inspections to register it in Oregon once we get there. The estimated to cost for fixing my car another $200 dollars on top of the $200 I already put into, around $300 to complete the required testing and fees to title, license and register the car. As well as the cost of travel to Portland - gas, lodging, and food for myself, my son and my travel partner that is helping me make the drive through the mountains. I am breaking the trip into 3 days and with the help of a friend have a discounted price on a hotel room in Bismark and Butte.
I've realized I need help to make this happen, and I am running out of time. Our moving date is July 25th. My son and I have an amazing opportunity with this move. I've lived on the Bad River reservation my entire life, as has my son. We appreciate any type of help anyone can provide for us, even just sharing the link in the hopes that the more that see it the more people able and willing to help us can see it.
