Homeless for the Holidays

Donation protected
From 2014 to 2015, there was a 21% increase in the homeless population in King County. If I was good at eloquence, I'd write something here about heartbreaking struggles in the face of a system that is designed to fuck the poor and the marginalized. What I can say is this: that fucking sucks. I want to try to make that fucking suck a little less.

Instead of getting me a Christmas present this year, I would really appreciate it if you would fund us (Mitch Mitchell and myself) in our goal to create care packages to hand out to the Seattle homeless population. Each backpack will include:
- tarp
-blanket
-gloves
-socks
-towel
-first aid kit
-baby wipes
-rope
-duct tape roll
-chapstick
-toothbrush & toothpaste
-razors
-feminine hygiene products

If we reach our goal of $1500, we can make 50-60 people's lives a little bit better. We would be eternally grateful if you would help us out in this endeavor.

To address distrubution concerns: Because of Mitch's job's proximity to the population, she's aware of the resources available and know contacts/social workers who can point us in the right direction.

If you want to get a better idea of what the backpacks would include, peep the pics below:
