Emergency Vet bill for Bo

Angela Dodson has such a soft heart and love for animals(that's why we asked her to become a part of the Pups in Peril family) that on Tuesday night when she was tagged at 9 pm on FB in a random post about a 10 month old Frenchie pup in a life or death situation, she did what her heart told her to do. This pup's abdominal sutures had completely come open from a surgery the day before and his intestines were coming out- his owners were holding them in! They got on FB, not knowing what to do. They had applied for Care Credit and couldn't get it. Angela got them on the phone with them and without a second thought, said she would cover the entire bill and had them meet her at the Emergency Clinic in Beaumont. "Bo" was in shock, low BP etc and had to have a bowell resection to save as much of his intestines as they could. The estimate was $2500.00. Angela put the whole thing on her credit card. She had never met these people or this dog but she knew she couldn't let him die. Bo had his surgery last night at the EC and is now hospitalized at his vets office. The total at the EC ended up being $1200. Angela puts her heart and soul into her work with animals and I'm sure any help with reimbursement on that bill would be greatly appreciated! So far she has had a total of $70 donated to her, but I know we can do better than that FB World!
