Starting Over after Apartment Fire

 On Thursday night, August 9, Wesley and Hannah were evacuated from their apartment building in Sparwood due to a fast moving fire that quickly took over and destroyed the building. Wes graduated from the RCMP last July, and he and Hannah were married in November. Together they moved to Sparwood where Wesley was stationed to start their new life together.  We are very grateful that Hannah and Wesley both made it out of the building and are uninjured. However, they had not yet purchased tenant insurance and have lost all their belongings.  They have only what they were wearing when they escaped the fire.  The thought of starting over is emotionally and financially overwhelming. Even though Hannah and Wes are new Sparwood residents, they have been made to feel at home there; they have also continued to be blessed by their far reaching community, especially in this year of new beginnings. This is a forced new beginning for them, and they need support now more than ever. If you are able to give, they would be so grateful as they navigate the difficult process of starting over.
