Lennon is a dedicated 14-year-old rugby player in grade 9 with big dreams. She started playing rugby with the Cowichan Piggies Rugby Club when she was just 11 and has been passionate about the sport ever since.

This past September, she joined the MACDOWELLRUGBY island academy, where she is the youngest and only grade 9 athlete in the program. Despite still being in middle school in Chemainus, Lennon makes the daily commute to Duncan to train and develop her skills with older athletes—showcasing her commitment and determination to the game.

Now, she has an incredible opportunity to compete at the Tropical 7s in Tampa, Florida, where she will represent MACDOWELLRUGBY on an international stage. Lennon’s goal is to perform at her best, help her team bring home a medal, and gain valuable experience against top-level competition.

Looking ahead, Lennon plans to continue training at MACDOWELLRUGBY throughout high school and dreams of one day representing Team Canada.
