Cassie's Surgery Fund

Cassie is a 5 year old ex-racehorse (registered name is Fireworks) and a great-granddaughter of Secratatiat and Affirmed.  I bought her last year as a project horse to eventually take me to the big shows.  Early spring she came up lame and after x-rays it showed she had damage to her left front fetlock.  Arthroscopic surgery helped clean it up and vets told us we'd know in a few months if it worked.  At her post surgery check up the vet said she had no cartiledge left in the joint.  Cassie is now facing another more expensive surgery that will fuse her fetlock joint in that leg.  Her riding days are over, but if all goes well she will be able to live out her days as a companion horse and broodmare.  Any donations will help and prayers are always appreciated.
